Sailas Banda, Chairman & Project Lead of TEMCO, has finalised the pre-operational project team that will carry the hospital through capital raise, construction and commissioning.
The leadership team comprises:
- Sailas Banda — Chairman & Project Lead (strategic direction, government relations, capital formation) - Dr. Letumile R. Moeng — Clinical Lead (clinical strategy, JCI pathway, specialist recruitment) - Bahati L. Mwemutsi — Finance Lead (financial strategy, investor relations, SEZA compliance) - Makhosi Sibanda — Operations Lead (clinical workflows, staffing, procurement) - Ms. Marang Mbaakanyi — Independent Director (board oversight, governance) - Mr. Ben Olebile — Engineering Lead - Mrs. Rhoda M. Banda — Community Lead - Lawrence Sebele — Lead Architect - Andrew Mafate — Hospital Consultant
Titles use "Lead" rather than operational C-suite titles because the project company (Murua Home (Pty) Ltd) is a pre-operational SPV — the hospital does not yet exist to operate. Operational titles will transition once the hospital opens in Q2 2029.
The team is supported by an advisory bench of legal counsel, clinical specialists and external consultants, plus an institutional clinical operations partnership with Advance Medical Africa.
